PIX: Veena Malik's HOT song in Kannada's Dirty Picture

Actress Veena Malik is quite the professional.

Despite a foot injury -- Veena twisted her ankle and broke a toe nail -- Veena continued to shoot for her new film, Silk Sakkath Maga. This is the Kannada version of Vidya Balan's award-winning film The Dirty Picture.

Talking about the shoot, Veena said, "I am very happy that I completed my song on schedule after getting injured. It was very difficult for me to shoot, as it was painful. But it's not a big deal for me, as I consider myself to be a super woman and nobody can stop me."

Veena Malik takes the Silk Smitha biopic, and makes it her own in Silk Sakkath Maga.

Like Vidya, Veena has gained weight for the role. Her outfits, though, look skimpier.

The film will see some hot scenes with Veena and her co-star Akshay.

Kannada actress Nikitha Thukral had been offered the role first but she declined as she felt the remake would not do justice to the Hindi original.

The Kannada film was first titled Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga but Ekta Kapoor, who produced the Hindi film, objected strongly to that and even went to court. The title was later changed to Silk Sakkath Maga.

The film has been produced by Venkatappa and directed by Trishul.

Veena is also prepping for her next Bollywood release, The City That Never Sleeps, produced by Satish Reddy and directed by Haroon Rashid.
