With just a few days to go before the potential box office smasher rocks the screens, Sukanya Verma picks Salman's 10 best action moments.

Three things one can expect from a Salman Khan movie these days?

A) Songs that'll make the nation slip in dhinka chika mode

B) His shirt will come off at some point or the other and

C) Action, truckloads of action.

Kick, the superstar's Eid offering this year, which also marks producer Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut, aspires to be no different.

The trailer itself packs in tons of wolf-whistling daredevilry what with the action hero performing a medley of cool stunts ranging from leaping off a bridge, bike jumping into a chopper, cycling past exploding jeeps and crossing the rail tracks in face of a fast approaching train.

Agreed VFX has made life a lot easier for the Jackie Chans of Bollywood but the 'kick' of witnessing a larger-than-life setpiece on celluloid bolstered by the Dabangg dude's charisma and the hysteria it triggers inside the cinema halls is something else.

With just a few days to go before the potential box office smasher rocks the screens, here's my pick of Salman's 10 best action moments.

P:S: Feel free to post your favourites in the message board below.

Jai Ho

Despite its disappointing box office, Salman Khan's preachy Jai Ho isn't devoid of adrenaline-pumping sequences.

Particularly memorable are his daring stunts on the bike to rescue his nephew from an evil Mukul Dev -- the one where he rides through the railway stairs, springs above the rail track and bumpy hill before jumping off a moving bike to hit the bad guy with it fatally.

Ek Tha Tiger

One of Salman's sleekest action films, Ek Tha Tiger doles out quite a few moments of edge-of-the-seat adventure.

Between his swaggering introduction scene and firing bullets while sliding down a set of shabby steps of Middle East, bringing a darting Dublin tram to a halt with a mere blazer and leaping from a moving bike onto a zooming plane, it's hard to pick a single favourite.

Bodyguard

Playing a security official (modelled around his own bodyguard Shera) offers Salman ample scope to flex his muscles in the 2011 blockbuster.

The actor lives up to his titular avatar by rescuing Kareena Kapoor from hoodlums with characteristic aplomb and in-your-face physicality.

You know the villain's had it when a gushing pipe strips the hero into baring his pumping torso.

And that's EXACTLY what happens.

Wanted

The commitment-bound Salman exhibits Flash-like speed to catch a local train just in time and save the damsel-in-distress from eve teasing hounds.

What follows is a delightful and deserving session of bam, boom, bishoom!

How badass is that?

Dabangg/i>

As the wisecracking maverick cop Chulbul Pandey, Salman delivers one of his career-best roles in Dabangg.

While the sequel plays it too safe to stand out, the original has enough merits to warrantee repeated viewings.

You know this has the making of something special right from the moment Khan makes a dramatic entry inside a shady storeroom to beat the baddies into pulp.

"Abhi tak sabko nehlaya hai. Ab sabko dhoyunga."

Woo hoo!

Judwaa/i>

In David Dhawan's goofy take on twin trouble, Salman Khan's cheeky tapori is the real scene-stealer.

Playing to his all-rounder appeal, he pulls off an entertaining face-off with Mukesh Rishi, guilty of committing Bollywood's persistent crime -- molesting the sister.

Needless to say, he gets a good dose of Salman's fury in heartfelt knocks and kicks.

The coolest bit is when the Judwaa hunk walks away from a crushed Rishi playing the flute in the same manner the latter would after subjugating his victim.

Andaz Apna Apna

With not a single serious bone in its body, Rajkumar Santoshi's Andaz Apna Apna is an unabashed celebration of madness and chaos.

It may not compete with the aggressive tone of others in the slide show, the sheer uniqueness of Salman and Shakti Kapoor's hands free combat demands a place in the compilation.

Karan Arjun

Salman Khan conveys restrained intensity as the no-nonsense foil to Shah Rukh Khan's boisterous persona in Rakesh Roshan's reincarnation drama, Karan Arjun.

And that brooding temperament is what charges up the screen when he switches from a needy ready to lose a ring fight for money to a reckless fighter filled with unexplained rage.

Veergati

Though the film failed at the box-office, it's easily among Salman's better works and in the same vein as his silent, angry prototype in Karan Arjun.

Watch out for Sallu's outburst in the elaborate climax wherein he single-handedly takes on a nefarious Akhilendra Mishra with a sword, a petrol tank and plain brute force.

Maine Pyar Kiya

A 20-something, yet-to-beef up Salman Khan portrays indignation with hard-hitting conviction in his David versus Goliath moment of Maine Pyaar Kiya.

Up against Mohinish Behl's burly henchmen, Salman's lovelorn Prem transforms into a raw, raging bull in MPK's memorable rain fight.

There's something impulsive about his 'enough is enough' disposition as he stashes his first salary in his wet socks, pulls out a jeep’s wiper and violently clashes with Deep Dhillon, hitting where it hurts the most.
