PIX: Ranveer Singh is a Mamma's boy

Ranveer Singh, who is currently shooting in Istanbul for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, celebrated his 29th birthday with his mother on July 6.

He shared a pictured of them together (above) and tweeted: 'Mamma's boy:)'

He added: 'Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!'

Meanwhile, his co-star Priyanka Chopra wished him on Twitter and wrote: 'Happy belated bday @RanveerOfficial !! Tho we r all in turkey together like @FarOutAkhtar said..twitter pe toh banta hai.. Dhina dhin Dha!!'

Lata Mangeshkar turned to Twitter to remember veteran music composer Anil Biswas on his birth centenary on July 7.

She shared an old photograph of them together (above) and tweeted: 'Aaj mahan Sangeetkar Anil Biswas ji ki janm shatabdi hai.play back singing ki bohot si baatien maine unse sikhi.'

Biswas is best remembered for his compositions in films like Roti (1942), Kismet (1943), Anokha Pyaar (1948), Taraana (1951), Waaris (1954), Pardesi (1957) and Char Dil Char Rahen (1959).

Actress Swara Bhaskar, who will feature in a cameo role in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has started shooting for the film.

She shared a picture from the sets (above) and wrote: 'Getting dressed for Day 1 of shoot for #PremRatanDhanPayo Family drama here I come :) :) 

The film also stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor.

Sunny Leone recently returned from her week-long trip to Los Angeles.

'Touchdown Mumbai!!!! Finally back and ready for the craziness to start :)' Leone tweeted.

'Slept at 4am, up at 7am, tried figuring out what's wrong with my appliances, now off to my first app before hitting the gym. Fun fun,' she added with a picture (above).
