Several Bollywood stars celebrated Raksha Bandhan with their families, and posted pictures on Twitter:

Priyanka Chopra tied a Rakhi to her brother Siddharth. 

'early morning Rakhi with sid! blessed to have my brothers,' she tweeted with a picture (above). 

'Coming back home after a long hard day makes u feel so blessed...my comfy bed helps too hehe,' she added later.

Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture and tweeted: 'Rakhi done. Suhana gets two presents & double the protection. I get to hug my beautiful sister tighter. Happy Rakhi.'

Meanwhile, he also celebrated the festival Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee in Kolkatta. 'Happy RAKHI to everyone. Mine already started with Mamata Didi tying me mine. Thank you Kolkata & the Police Deptt,' he added.

Sussanne's cousin Farah Khan Ali shared a picture with Hrithik and tweeted: 'With my younger brother @iHrithik. Love you Duggu.'  

'The more the merrier #Rakshabandhan,' she added with a family picture. 

As for Hrithik, he enjoyed the sweets. 'Rakhee binge! Is der a dentist dat cn extract my sweet tooth? Think I ws born wth 30 of them!Irony of a fitness freak.Ab kal dekhenge,' he tweeted.

Bipasha Basu celebrated Raksha Bandhan with her Rakhi brother and filmmaker Sohum Shah.

She shared a picture of them together and tweeted: 'Recieved sweetest cupcakes from my bro Soham for Rakhi:) Sweet tooth! Phewwww!' 

Actor Siddhanth Kapoor celebrated the festival with his sister and actress Shraddha.

He posted a picture and wrote: 'Happy rakhi my lovely,angelic,beautiful, Amazing, precious, special, best sister. I love you the most.' 

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar celebrated Raksha Bandhan with her brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

Wishing her fans, the 84-year-old singer tweeted: 'Namaskar. Rakshabandhan ke pavitra avasar par sabhi bhai beheno'n ko shubh kaamnaayein aur bohot sa pyar.'

She shared a picture (above) and added: 'Mere bhai Hridaynath ko rakhi baandhte hue.'

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman celebrated Raksha Bandhan with hotelier GS Bawa. Jeetendra was also present with wife Shobha Kapoor. 

Bawa's daughter Kiran shared a picture from the celebrations (above) and tweeted: 'Lovely evening wth my dad & his rakhi sisters.'

Actor Shreyas Talpade posted a selfie (above) with his sisters and wrote: 'Selfie With my two little darlings...happy raksha bandhan my sweeties. God bless u.'

Meanwhile, Goldie Behl shared a picture with his sisters and tweeted: 'Had a wonderful day with my loving sisters #Rakshabandhan smile together forever @shrishtiarya @tania_behl Shraddha.' 

Singer Kailash Kher shared a picture with his sister and wrote: 'With my Life Line @nutankher what a beautiful feelings after prayers at parental home Delhi.' 

Meanwhile, singer Sonu Nigam's Teesha shared a picture of them together and tweeted: 'Happy #Rakshabandhan every1! Hav a blessed one! #Love #2014 #HappybirthdayMummy Love u Dada @sonunigam.'
