PIX: Om Puri, Rahman, Helen Mirren at 100-Foot Journey premiere

The film's New York premiere was a star studded affair.

Veteran actor Om Puri, who plays a protagonist along side Hollywood stalwart Helen Mirren in the American comedy-drama The Hundred-Foot Journey, arrived at the film's NY premiere with son Ishaan Puri.

Shocking, besides this film, Om Puri, India's greatest actor, has no work!

The film opens in theatres worldwide this Friday, August 8.

Ace music composer AR Rahman, who's scored the music for the film, was also present.

Rahman, who also posted a picture from the premiere on his official Facebook page, posed for pictures with co-producer Juliet Blake.

Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren, who plays haughty restaurant owner Madame Mallory in the film, strikes a pose in her striking lace dress.

Actors Manish Dayal and Charlotte Le Bon, who play significant characters in the film, were also present.

Co-producers of the film, media mogul Oprah Winfrey and veteran filmmkaer Steven Spielberg arrive together.

Spielberg's wife -- actress Kate Capshaw -- and their daughter Destry Spielberg (right), arrive for the world premiere of the film in the Manhattan borough of New York.
