Television magazine Gr8! will celebrate its 10th anniversary in September with a special edition.
To celebrate the occasion, the magazine's publisher Shashi Ranjan and editor Anu Rajan have brought together the TV industry's 10 best known couples for a memorable photoshoot.
Celebrity photographer Pravin Talan captures the actors expertly, and shares his behind-the-scenes experience with them. Here's what he said:
Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh
Aamir would gently remove the hair falling on Sanjeeda’s face so it would not hide her beauty.
I remember a picture where Sanjeeda’s face was in focus and he was a little out-focus. He insisted on using that picture as he felt she looked mesmerizingly beautiful in it.
Gurmeet precariously balances Debina on his legs, in a shoot full of fun moments.
I can never forget the love in Shaleen’s eyes, as he lay next to Daljeet on the rug, with candles all around. He put a hand on her tummy and whispered to their unborn child.
A soon-to-be father, he was glowing as much as Daljeet.
He insisted on a copy of this picture after the issue gets released.
When I walked into Raqesh’s house, I was amazed to learn that he was an excellent painter too and had made a beautiful portrait of Ridhi.
I decided to do a shoot themed on the the painter and his muse. We spent nearly an hour setting up lights and his paintings for that shot.
I remember Addite riding on Mohit Malik’s back on the hills in Khandala (a hill station in Maharashtra), tickling him and making him laugh.
Then, she refused to take cover when it started raining. Instead, she chose to hug him and soak in the moments of love.
Barkha and Indraneil took a dip in the pool full of freezing water to create an extra-ordinary visual.
Vivian hurt his back during the shoot, as the marble slab he was sitting on broke. But he and Vahbbiz smiled through it all.
Ravi held the entire weight of Sargun on his tummy in a complicated shot for nearly 30 minutes, just because he loved the concept so much.
Mazhar and Mouli act like two teenagers, lying together with arched bodies, as if they met just yesterday.
Who would have guessed that it’s been years since they were married!
Manav and Shweta would keep taking out time to attend their daughter and then rush back to the shoot.
