The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco tied the knot with fiance of six months Ryan Sweeting on New Year's Eve in a fire-and-ice themed ceremony.

Cuoco and tennis player Sweeting had been engaged for six months.

The 27-year-old actress wore a custom-made pink Vera Wang gown for the big day.

She posted on her Instagram feed with the (above) picture, 'My fairy-tail ending. Or beginning I should say!'

The couple married at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California, in front of about 150 guests.

Cuoco's sister Briana, 25, served as her maid of honour.

The wedding cake, fashioned after a chandelier, hung from the ceiling.

Cuoco updated, 'TY to #thebutterend for creating our magical chandelier cake. Literally hanging above us. EPIC'

Another picture had the couple dancing as a married couple for the first time as the guests looked on.

'Last night I married my sweetheart :) life couldn't be sweeter,' Cuoco gushed.

Cuoco said 'I do' in a petal pink strapless ball gown with sweetheart neckline.

After the ceremony, she changed into a short red dress.

'The Sweetings,' Cuoco captioned this picture of her and her new husband kissing after the ceremony.
