Hrithik Roshan has been discharged from Hinduja Healthcare Surgical in Khar, a suburban hospital where he underwent a successful brain surgery to remove a blood clot.

"I am fantastic," Hrithik said while posing for the shutterbugs.

The actor's family -- including sister Sunaina and father Rakesh Roshan -- accompanied him.

The 39-year-old actor was suffering from subdural hematoma, often caused by bleeding of veins in the brain as a result of a head injury. The brain surgery was necessitated following an injury he received two months ago on the sets of his film, Bang Bang.

Hrithik suffered the injury while performing a stunt for his upcoming film Bang Bang, directed by Siddharth Anand (of Salaam Namaste fame), costarring Katrina Kaif.
