Forbes magazine's annual list of most profitable stars in the world is out.

10. Liam Neeson
Taken 2 star Liam Neeson beat big stars like Ben Affleck and Will Smith to make it to the Top 10 list, with his $32 million in earnings from June 2012 to June 2013.
The actor's success has often been credited to his consistently low-cost money spinners.

9. Denzel Washington
Multiple Oscar nominee and winner Denzel Washington figures at number nine with $33 million in yearly earnings.
The star was nominated for his sixth Oscar for his heartwarming portrayal of a troubled commercial pilot Captain Whip Whitaker in Robert Zemecki's 2012 film Flight.
8. Tom Cruise
Jack Reacher actor Tom Cruise's stocks may have plummeted -- he topped the list last year with $75 million -- but the actor managed to clock in a respectable $35 million this year.
7. Adam Sandler
Producer of low-budget box office hits like Grown Ups and Hotel Transylvania, Adam Sandler draws huge salaries from acting projects.
The actor will be reprising his role in Grown Ups 2, up for release this month.
6. Leonardo DiCaprio
While there's a lot of buzz surrounding Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie The Wolf Of Wall Street, his last film The Great Gatsby raked in a cool $250 million at the box office.
One of the most prolific stars of his time, DiCaprio figures at number six with $39 million.
5. Dwayne Johnson
With box office hits like the Fast And The Furious franchise and GI Joe: Retaliation, former wrestler Dwayne The Rock Johnson has cemented his place in Hollywood royalty.
Heraked in $46 million in the past year.
4. Mark Wahlberg
Actor-producer Mark Wahlberg hit it big time with blockbuster comedy Ted that he produced and starred in last year.
While Ted earned a whopping $550 million, the actor is now entering the hit franchise territory with the latest Transformers film in 2014.
3. Hugh Jackman
The Wolverine star Hugh Jackman made $55 million in the past year.
The actor won an Academy award earlier this year for his moving portrayal in Les Miserables.
2. Channing Tatum
Young father Channing Tatum is at number two with an impressive $60 million.
The Magic Mike actor hugely benefitted from the film, which he independently helped finance with director Steven Soderbergh.
1. Robert Downey Jr
And the undisputed king of the list is Iron Man Robert Downey Jr with $75 million in earnings in the past year.
The actor was the highest paid cast member on The Avengers while the latest sequel in the Iron Man series had a great run at the box office earlier this year.
