Award winning director Rituparno Ghosh passed away in Kolkata, May 30. He was 49.
His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the film faternity.
Ghosh's body was kept at Nandan, the film centre in central Kolkata, so that people could pay their last respects.
Ghosh will be cremated with state honours.
West Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee came to pay homage to the departed legend.

Music composer Debojyoti Mishra and director Gautam Ghosh also pay their last respects.
Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, who was last seen in Shanghai and the Bengali version of Singham titled Bikram Singha, looked grief-stricken as he paid a floral tribute. Prosenjit has worked with Ghosh in many films, including Unishe April and Utsab.

After hearing the news of Ghosh's demise, legendary actor Soumitra Chatterjee said, "I am left with no words. How can someone who is so young and so talented die so suddenly?
"He was, perhaps, one of the most gifted filmmakers of modern times. It's an irreparable loss for the film fraternity. I am too sad to say anything else."
