The inaugural Yash Chopra Memorial Award, founded by industrialist and MP T Subbarami Reddy and Anu and Shashi Ranjan, saw several film industry bigwigs turn up in support.
Singing doyen Lata Mangeshkar was felicitated with the award -- which comes with a prize money of Rs 10 lakh and will be conferred upon one outstanding film personality each year -- at a glitzy ceremony held over the weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.
Anushka Sharma, who starred in Yash Chopra's swan song Jab Tak Hai Jaan last year, looked resplendent in her white outfit.
