If her recent Cannes outing was any indication, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is out to reclaim her fashion mojo!
That said, we did wish she'd experimented a bit with different looks instead of sticking to styles one can hardly go wrong with.
Metallic hues, that have featured prominently in Ash's choice of outfits over the years, dominated her aforementioned Cannes style too.

Ash, who endorses jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers, appeared in one of their ads in an intricately tiered golden gown that hugged her curves in all the right places.

Sari-torial elegance
Making her first international appearance post delivery, Ash arrived at the amfAR gala at last year's Cannes film festival in a gold Tarun Tahiliani sari.
Paired with a tight bun and matching jewellery, this look was more of a miss as it washed her out completely.
Bold and beautiful
The same year, her Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla sari with a heavy gold blouse received a lot of negative press, as it hung in the most unflattering way on her body.
While she looked gorgeous, thanks to a dreamy hairdo and makeup, the overall look was crushed under the weight of the heavy blouse.
Radiant mother-to-be
In a clearly ill-advised move, Ash, weeks before giving birth to daughter Aaradhya, wore this garish salwar kameez for an event hosted by designer friends Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
The bling rivalled her pregnancy glow to say the least.
Playing it like a red carpet veteran
Playing the perfect hostess and Bachchan bahu, Ash wore yet another Abu-Sandeep opulent anarkali for Bachchan Sr's star-studded 70th birthday bash.
This was one of her better looks.
Trophy wife
For unveiling the new Filmfare trophy last year, Ash opted for a more tasteful anarkali (if there is such a thing) designed by Sabyasachi.
Party girl
The actress was a sight in Australian designer Collette Dinnigan's daisy gold dress as she attended Karan Johar's birthday bash in 2011.
Global gal
A very youthful Ash wore a dress with gold accents on the bodice at the MTV Asia awards, held in Singapore, in 2003.
