Abhishek Bachchan, who has become the new face of the Pro Kabaddi League, has bought the Jaipur franchise.
The other seven are Mumbai, Bangalore Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune and Patna.
Confirming the news, Abhishek tweeted: 'It is with great pride that I would like to announce that I have bought the Jaipur Team for the Pro Kabaddi League. Need your good wishes.'
Riteish Deshmukh congratulated him and wrote: 'So proud of u @juniorbachchan - big hug n good luck - Go Kabaddi - Pakdo Pakdo Pakdo -jakdo jakdo jakdo - dekho Jane Na paaye.'
Esha Deol to campaign for mom Hema Malini
Actress Esha Deol, who has been missing from the limelight, will be campaign for mother Hema Malini, who is contesting for Lok Sabha elections for BJP from Mathura.
Confirming the news, Hema Malini tweeted: 'All sabhas very successful so far.Looking forward to @Esha_Deol joining me for the last 2 sabhas this evening.'
'7 villages covered since this morning.warm welcome everywhere & villagers all wanting better governance,' she added.
Sonakshi: Rio 2 is a fun treat for the entire family
Sonakshi Sinha, who has dubbed for the Hindi version of the animated musical Rio 2 which releases today, urged her fans to go and watch the film.
'Rio 2 is out today!!! Catch Imran as Blu and me as Jewel in the hindi version :) a fun treat for the entire family!' the 26-year-old actress tweeted.
Actor Viveck Vaswani added: 'Divergent Oculus Rio2 all in cinema's today. Rio 2 widest release in English and Hindi.'
Actor Imran Khan has also lent his voice to the film.
