There's never a dull moment when Mallika Sherawat is around.
The sexy actress who plays a snake woman in Jennifer Lynch's upcoming movie Hisss was in her element while promoting the film at the Mumbai's Reliance Trends store on Friday.
"You can take Mallika out of India but you cannot take India out of Mallika," she said while thanking her fans for their support. "Hisss is a Bollywood movie with Hollywood technicians," she explained adding "there are snakes, there is 'Holi' in the local story."
According to her, the USP of the movie are the special effects used to show the snake turning into a girl and vice versa. She also revealed that it was Julian Lennon (son of John Lennon) who had asked her to sing a song in the film. She managed to sing two lines for her fans before excusing herself on account of a sore throat.
Talking about her long stay in the United States where she was promoting the film, Mallika said she felt more of an Indian there. But she said there's nothing like home.
Mumbai, she said, reminded her of the times when she travelled by train when she was running late for shoots. "I used to wear a burqa when I travelled by train. In fact, Jennifer (director) used the burqa to hide the snake in the movie!"
Mallika also talked about her friend Salman Khan and pledged her support to his charity. She also said she wouldn't mind biting him when asked which star she would bite if she were a snake.
Asked what are her marriage plans, Mallika replied that she hadn't met anyone she would like to marry yet.
She signed off by wishing Amitbah Bachchan a happy birthday.
