Here's what's happening in the world of Hollywood.

Katie Holmes is reportedly set to play the role of Christian Grey's ex-lover Elena Lincoln in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

According to National Enquirer, the 34-year-old actress is keen to 'reinvent' herself and thinks that Hollywood would sit up and take notice of her, Metro.co.uk reported.

A source claimed that she is looking at this as the role of a lifetime for her.

The film is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and is due to commence shooting in December.

Drew Barrymore and her art consultant hubby Will Kopelman are expecting their second child, according to reports.

Speculation was sparked when the 38-year-old actress had worn a long flowing dress to the LACMA Art and Film Gala, which strategically covered her figure, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Last month, the Music And Lyrics star had told talk show host Jay Leno that she grew up as the only child and having one child really worked for some parents, as it made their kids independent.

Barrymore married Kopelman in June 2012 and has never been shy about expressing her views on having a family.
