'The real challenge for me is to learn Hindi and I really admire the way Katrina Kaif has done it and become successful.'
Khatron Ke Khiladi contestant Deane Uppal gets ready for Bollywood.
Miss India UK 2012 Deana Uppal is the latest contestant to get evicted from reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Deane, who entered the show on a wild card, claims she was in for the fun.
“It was like a roller coaster ride,” Deane says. “The show is all about pushing your limits and moving out of your comfort zone. I enjoyed being a part of the show and would love to be a part of it again."

The model-turned-actress says that she has partially conquered her fear of insects and cockroaches.
“I got to do things that I would have never been able to experience without being on the show. One of my major fears is insects and I was proud of myself when I spent 11 minutes sealed in a plastic bag full of insects. Surprisingly, that was my best task on show! I was even able to overcome my fear of heights,” she says.
Deane’s toughest task when she had to take flags from one stand, and then swing to the other and stick the flag. “I was constantly worried about falling down or banging my head!” she exclaims.
During her brief stint in Cape Town, Deana created a strong bond with the female contestants.
“I got along well with most of them but I became great friends with Teejay Sidhu, Geeta Tandon and Debina Bonerjee. Geeta used to teach me Hindi while I would teach her English,” she says.
“Ranvir Shorey wasn't friendly,” she adds. “He was quite rude to me but later, he apologised.”
So who does she think will win the show?
“Salman Yusuf Khan has a good chance to win,” she replies. “Actually, any of the boys will win because they have an advantage -- their physical strength.”
Deane, who recently made a special appearance in Revolver Rani, has just finished shooting for Life Non Veg, starring popular MTV veejay Siddharth Bhardwaj.
“I play a fun-loving girl called Sweetie, who believes in living life king size. And she hangs out with her three boyfriends,” Deane says.
“The real challenge for me is to learn Hindi and I really admire the way Katrina Kaif has done it and become successful,” she adds.
Deane has an item number coming up too but she refrains from talking about it.
Addressing rumours of her dating rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, she says, “I have been single for the last four years and will focus on my career now. He is just a friend, there’s nothing more to it.”
Tired of shuttling between India and UK, Deane plans to bring her mother to Mumbai and settle down here.
