Hrithik, Ranbir, Akshay: Forbes India's powerful celebs of 2013

The annual list of Forbes India' Most Powerful Celebrities of 2013 is out with a few surprises and regular fixtures.

Here's a look at the top 10!

10. Hrithik Roshan

Krrish 3 star Hrithik Roshan received a major boost this year, thanks to the immense success of his latest superhero sequel.

The actor had ranked 16th on the same list last year with Rs 68.67 crore in earnings.

9. Katrina Kaif

Dhoom 3 actress Katrina Kaif jumped up one spot as well -- from last year's tenth to ninth -- in the list.

She had ranked 10th in money and 16th in fame last year.

8. Ranbir Kapoor

Katrina's rumoured beau Ranbir Kapoor beats her by one spot, and lands at number eight.

The 31-year-old actor has tasted immense success with hit films like Rockstar, Barfi! and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

7. Virat Kohli

At 25, cricketing sensation Virat Kohli has earned the distinction of being the youngest person to figure in the top 10 of this list. 

6. Akshay Kumar

Boss actor Akshay Kumar suffered a minor slump from last year's fourth spot to sixth this year.

5. Amitabh Bachchan

Veteran Amitabh Bachchan steadfastly held on to his fifth spot this year too.

He'd earned a whopping Rs 116.3 crore in 2012.

4. Sachin Tendulkar

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar may have retired from active cricket but his influence and fame have only soared.

The ace cricketer takes up the fourth spot this year, an upgrade from last year's sixth. 

3. Salman Khan

After lying low for over a year, Salman Khan is back in the limelight.

While the trailer was his new keenly-awaited movie Jai Ho was recently unveiled, the actor makes an appearance at number three on this prestigious list.

2. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Prolific Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni occupies the second spot.

1. Shah Rukh Khan

True to his moniker, Shah Rukh Khan has emerged as the Badshah of the list by retaining his position for a second year in a row.

While he earned a cool Rs 202.83 crore in 2012, he had claimed the first spot in earning and had ranked third in fame.
