Malayalam cinema celebrates Onam with some high profile movie releases. Most films released recently failed to enthuse viewers. Much is thus expected from the festival releases.

Lakshmi Rai has changed her name and hopes that proves lucky for her.

North 24 Kaatham director Anil Radhakrishnan Menon tells the story of seven gentlemen thieves. According to Prithviraj, the film is different from other films about heists.
