Stars turned to Twitter to pay tribute to acclaimed cinematographer V K Murthy, who passed away on April 7. He was 91.

Siddharth: 'One of the greatest men to ever light a movie frame, legendary cinematographer V. K. Murthy sir has left us. RIP great sir.'

Chandan Roy Sanyal: 'V.K Murthy passes away at the age of 91. he shot pyaasa and kagaaz ke phool.'

Lata Mangeshkar remembers Pandit Ravi Shankar

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar, who worked with music composer Pandit Ravi Shankar in 1960 film Anuradha, remembered him on his 94th birth anniversary on April 7.

She shared an old photograph of him (above) and tweeted: 'Aaj sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar ji ki 94 wi jayanti hai. Is mahan sangeet upasak ko mere koti koti pranam. 

His daughter Anoushka Shankar added: 'Happy birthday Bapi, my father and guru, I love you.'

17 years of Koyla

Rakesh Roshan's 1997 action thriller film Koyla completed 17 years today and its lead actor Shah Rukh Khan turned to Twitter to thank the entire team.

'Koyla 17 yrs. wow. Thanx Rakeshji, Madhuri, Sambo Duggu Anurag & the Late Puri sahib & Jack Gaud. I remember the Hills the Music the Choppers,' the 48-year-old actor tweeted.

Khan is currently working on his next film Happy New Year.

Sonam Kapoor recently wrapped up the first shooting schedule for Arbaaz Khan’s next production Dolly Ki Doli.

'16 hours of non stop awesome work!! What an end to an awesome sched!' the 28-year-old actress tweeted.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has finished shooting for her Mary Kom biopic. She shared a picture from the sets and tweeted: 'Thank u beautiful manali.. Last day of shoot here.. U will be missed.'
