Salman Khan, who last tweeted on August 30 before leaving for his surgery in the US, has returned to Twitter.

Bollywood filmmakers seem to be in no mood to accept the government notification to ban smoking scenes from films.
After the recent notification by the Union Health Ministry to Censor Board, film producer Ritesh Sidhwani, director Mahesh Bhatt and Javed Akhtar met with I&B minister Ambika Soni, Censor Board CEO Pankaja Thakur and Union Law ministerSalman Khurshid in Delhi yesterday.
After the meeting, Ritesh Sidhwani tweeted: 'Had a good meeting with our I&B and Law Minister. We have decided to mutually come up with a solution to the smoking issue in films. Without a ban being imposed on us.. I think its a good way ahead and as responsible people we will not do anything to glorify smoking.'
