Mardaani opened to a very lukewarm response at the box office, mixed reviews from critics and an A certification further limiting its audience.
The film improved over Saturday and Sunday but is not likely to sustain through the week.
Singham Returns, on th eother hand, continued its excellent run at the box office for the first four days due to Independence Day and Gokulashtami holidays but started dropping thereafter.
