Amitabh Bachchan, who attended the opening ceremony of the 19th Kolkata Film Festival with actress and MP wife Jaya Bachchan, lit the inaugural ceremony along with Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan to kickstart the proceedings.

Prior to his Kolkata visit, the Big B had Hollywood veteran Robert De Niro and his daughter Drena in rapt attention as they discussed Indian tikas (vermillion), among other things, at the THiNK fest in Goa on November 9.
