Singer Kailash Kher recently completed shooting a video song for Nagesh Kukunoor’s upcoming film Lakshmi at Filmistan Studios in Mumbai. The film will mark the acting debut of singer Monali Thakur who first appeared on the second season of Indian Idol.
Kher shared a picture of them together from the sets and tweeted: ‘Shot wonderful video for @nkukunoor s film #LakshmiTheMovie music by @tapasrelia with @monalithakur.’
He shared another picture and added: ‘On the set of #LakshmiTheMovie few shots with the lead actress @monalithakur03 this film will touch you all.’
The film tells the story of a 13-year-old-girl, who is pushed into prostitution and fights back her tormentors.
