Director: Haissam Hussain
Writer: Faiza Iftikhar
Telecast Time: 8.45 pm, Monday to Sunday
Aunn Zara is hailed as a refreshing love story, a quirky take on the extremities the heart must overcome to survive -- without resorting to cliches.
The boy, Aunn, is brought up in a joint family.
He's pampered with the wealth, love and attention of doting elders. He soon gets tired of his pampered life and decides that only marriage will set him on his path to the grown up world.
Zara, on the other hand, is deprived of such a childhood.
She has lost out on maternal love, given her mother's untimely demise.
As the only child of a well-meaning father, who wishes to see his young girl break glass ceilings in her career, she is constantly pressurized to join the Air Force.
In her feminine wisdom, she too figures that the only way to thwart the unwanted pressure of flying combat grade aircrafts is to get hitched.
Over the course of their accidental wedlock, the protagonists come of age and recognise the importance of parents, responsibility, freedom, friendship and love.
