Bollywood bids adieu to Kundan Shah.

Director Kundan Shah, who made cult cinema like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, succumbed to a heart attack on October 7. His funeral took place the same evening.

The chautha (prayer service) was held in Mumbai on October 10, where quite a few film personalities paid their respects to the deceased filmmaker.

Long before Shah Rukh Khan became a superstar, Aziz Mirza had directed him in the popular television serial, Circus.

They went on to do films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Chalte Chalte.

In fact, Mirza was his co-partner in his production house, Dreamz Unlimited, along with Juhi Chawla.

Shah Rukh Khan worked with Kundan Shah in the sweet flick, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.

The actor, who could not attend the funeral, tweeted his condolences: 'Oh my friend I miss you. I know u will bring smiles around wherever u are...but this world will laugh less now. RIP.'

Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, who was Shah Rukh's co-star in the film, says she lucked out when she landed a role in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.

Aziz brother's Saeed Mirza walks in with his Nukkad actor, Pavan Malhotra.

The Mirza brothers had launched a production company called Iskra with Kundan Shah.

Satish Shah played a dead man through the cult satire, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro.

He also starred in Shah's Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and the TV series, Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi.
