The actor, who will not be taking a honeymoon break, wished his Raazi Director Meghna Gulzar on her 48th birthday and also took the opportunity to introduce us to the characters of his next film with her, Sam Bahadur, based on Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw's life.
Sam Bahadur was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the War of 1971.
Vicky writes: 'It's a very special day for us as we celebrate our director @meghnagulzar's birthday and welcome the leading ladies @sanyamalhotra_ as Silloo Manekshaw & @fatimasanashaikh as Smt Indira Gandhi to the #Samबहादुर family!
Sanya Malhotraposts: 'Behind every successful man is a strong independent woman who supports him in all his endeavours. It's with great honour that I get to play one such woman, Silloo Manekshaw, the wife of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Cannot wait to begin this journey with Meghna ma’am, Vicky, Fatima & @rsvpmovies!'
Fatima Sana Shaikh posts: 'A woman who defines courage, power and dignity! It's with great pride that I am joining the team of #Samबहादुर to depict the role of India's first female Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi! 'These words hold true for everything including relationships. Takes tremendous courage to be the person you are in a world filled with perceptions & optics.
'Thank you for inspiring me when I needed it and for keeping your mind open when you needed to listen. Marriage of equals is only possible when both are secure. And you are the most secure man I know! Like I’ve said earlier, fortunate are those who really know the real you, the soul behind all the achievements, the man behind all the projections cast upon you..
'May love, honesty, transparency and respect guide us always. P.S. : May we never stop goofin’ around. I love that about us.'
Virat posts a loved-up message too: '4 Years of you handling my silly jokes and my laziness.
'4 years of you accepting me for who I am everyday and loving me regardless of how annoying I can be.
'4 years of the greatest blessing god could’ve showered on us.
'4 years of being married to The most honest, loving, brave woman and the one who inspired me to stand by the right thing even when the whole world could be against you.
'4 years of being married to YOU. You complete me in every way, I’ll always love you with all that I have and more.
