Actor Salman Khan's lawyers on Wednesday filed an appeal seeking suspension of his five-year sentence in the chinkara poaching case.
Sessions Judge G S Mehta will take up the appeal for hearing on Thursday.
This means the actor will have to remain behind bars for one more night at the Jodhpur Central Jail.
This is the actor's third consecutive day in prison after Jodhpur Chief Judicial Magistrate Brijendra Kumar Jain sentenced him to five years rigorous imprisonment in the poaching case on Monday.
