The actress was 62.

Rita Bhaduri passed away on Tuesay, July 17. She was 62.

Bhaduri was working in Star Bharat's television show Nimki Mukhiya, where she played a grandmother.

Actor Shishir Sharma took to Facebook to announce her demise: 'We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma...'

Bhaduri was suffering from a kidney ailment and had to go for dialysis every alternate day. She had been hospitalised for the last 10 days.

Bhaduri worked in 70 movies including Raja, Julie, Beta, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar and over 20 television shows, including Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Amanat and Kumkum.
