Revathi to direct the remake of Queen in Tamil, Telugu

Vikas Bahl's critically-acclaimed film Queen, starring Kangana Ranaut, will soon be remade in Tamil and Telugu.

Veteran actress-turned-filmmaker Revathi, who is known for sensitive films like Mitr, My Friend and Phir Milenge, will helm the project.

Rumours suggest that the film will be bankrolled by Mani Ratnam and Nithya Menen will reprise Kangana’s role.

Suhasini Maniratnam is believed to be penning the dialogues for both the Tamil and Telugu versions.

Vijay’s Theri teaser creates a new record

Vijay’s last film Puli may have disappointed his fans, but they have a lot to cheer about now. The teaser of his upcoming film Theri has gone viral on the social media.

Within 24 hours of its release, the film garnered over two million views surpassing the record of Ajith’s Vedalam and director Shankar’s I.

Directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame, the film also features Samantha and Amy Jackson.

The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and is expected to release in April.

Dhanush to team up with Gautham Menon

Dhanush is all set to team up with director Gautham Menon for a film titled Enmel Payyum Thota.

The film will go on floors in March and will be wrapped up in a couple of months, as Dhanush is looking to complete his portions before he starts on his Hollywood project.

Meanwhile, Gautham Menon is currently busy with the Simbu-starrer Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, which is expected to be completed by this month.
