The already over-worked technicians working on Ra.One have just a day to complete the post-production, and ready the final prints of the film.
Reliable sources from Shah Rukh Khan's production house Red Chillies' Entertainment have revealed that the final batch of VFX were delivered on Wednesday night, much after the scheduled time.
It was a narrow escape for the entire Ra.One team as they anxiously waited for the final batch of special effects to arrive from the US. The film, as a result, will struggle a bit to stick to it's release
To make up for the lost time, it's two full days and nights of mixing for the team.
The source says, "There was a feeling of panic. If the final batch of VFX had not arrived on Wednesday night, we wouldn't have been able to make it. We're all working round-the-clock. Most of us don't even go home for a bath. Some of our technicians' children have forgotten what their fathers look like! We're working day and night so that we complete it on time. We're focused on completing the post-production work. Shah Rukh wants everything to be perfect and fine-tuning is a time-consuming process."
The film's release date has been set for October 26.
