Soundarya R Ashwin tweeted a picture of her superstar father Rajinikanth, who has a double role in her directorial debut, Kochadaiyaan.
The two roles are of a loyal commander of an emperor and his son, Rana.
Kochadaiyaan also stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobhana, Aadi Pinisetty, R Sarath Kumar and Nassar.
The music has been scored by A R Rahman.
The film will simultaneously release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English.
It is slated for release in July.
