NewMohammad Rafi is all set to give the singer fraternity a run for their money. Six of his unknown songs from an old shelved film will soon compete with other composers and singers at music stores.

The songs were recorded way back in 1980 under the baton of music director Chitragupta for the film Sorry Madam.

The film was to be directed by Dilip Bose, the man credited with films like Thokar, Sansar and Chandi Ki Deewar but because of certain constraints, the film had to be shelved. The film starred Raj

Kiran and Kajal Kiran.

The songs remained with the Bose family and it was only after the death of Dilip Bose that his sons, Dipankar and Diwakar, found the hidden treasure. However, there were no takers for the songs until the brothers chanced upon Bobby Bose of Narayani Creative Solutions.

Bobby, an ardent fan of the singer, was initially skeptical of the songs, but after listening to them his apprehensions vanished.

The songs may be released on July 31, which coincides with Rafi's death anniversary.

A film, Teri Ada: Love Is In The Air, will also be launched at the music release.
