Kaala Karikalan is said to be a sequel of Rajinikanth's 2016 gangster movie, Kabali.
Pa Ranjith, Kabali's director, will direct Kaala Karikalan.
Santhosh Narayanan will compose the music for the film which will be made in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
