The first Marathi film from Priyanka Chopra's production house Purple Pebble Pictures has gone on the floors.
Titled Ventilator, the film will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar of Ferrari Ki Sawaari fame and will star several veteran Marathi film and theatre actors.
The 33-year-old actress took to her Instagram account to announce the news and posted a picture, below, of the script and the clapboard.
Priyanka, who will have a guest appearance in the film, captioned the picture, 'Congratulations @purplepebblepictures for starting # Ventilator.. Our 1st Marathi film!good luck to #rajeshmapuskar and the team! Ganpati Bappa Morya.'
The actress-singer is currently busy shooting for the second season of her American show Quantico.

Spotted: Richa Chadha on the sets of Cabaret
Richa Chadha, who was last seen in Randeep Hooda starrer Main Aur Charles, is shooting for Pooja Bhatt's production, Cabaret.
Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, the film is about a dancer who travels from Jharkhand to Dubai before making it big in Mumbai.
Apart from Richa, the film also stars Rahul Roy in a guest appearance.
