Priyanka Chopra was recently quoted as saying that she does not need a man for anything except to have children.

When a fan asked her what she meant by that, she tweeted: ‘As u shouldn’t cause that’s not what I said. I wouldn’t need a guy. U have to want one. That’s the diff.’

‘Wow what is all this man hating what I said being converted into. Pls guys give a little credit. U shouldn’t need a man. U should want a man,’ she added.

Meanwhile, she posted a picture from the sets of her TV show Quantico, above, and wrote: ‘The end to Another cold winter day with my friend snow!!! #montrealdiaries.’

The second season of the American series will start on March 6.

Airlift declared tax-free in UP

Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur-starrer Airlift has been made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh.

Thanking Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Akshay wrote: ‘Just been informed the Uttar Pradesh Govt. has declared #Airlift as Tax Free. Thank you to the young & progressive team led by @yadavakhilesh.’

Starring Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, the film will release on September 2.

40 years of Kabhi Kabhie!

Yash Chopra’s 1976 film Kabhi Kabhie completed 40 years on January 27 and Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic.

He shared some pictures, above, and wrote: ‘40 years of 'Kabhi Kabhie' !! The lyrics and poem still as popular as before .. !! The times spent in Srinagar Kashmir in one long stretch and finished the film .. Those were the days .. REALLY !!’

Rishi Kapoor added: ‘Kabhi Kabhie. This was the numerological spelling of the film. It proved to be right.’

Written by Pamela Chopra, the film also features Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Raakhee, Neetu Singh, Naseem, Simi Garewal and Parikshat Sahni.

The film is based on the real life incident of Dr Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpayee, Aligarh will release on February 26.
