Sai Pallavi: Malayalam’s new heartthrob?

In a unique marketing strategy, Premam did not have any trailer. Only two songs -- Aluva Puzhayude and Pathivayi Njan featuring Nivin Puly and Anupama Parameswaran -- were released.

Things changed after its release. The character Malar, a young college lecturer, stole the hearts of viewers. It was played by Sai Pallavi.

Sai has shown off her dancing skills on TV shows and is studying Medicine in Georgia. Director Alphonse Puthren spotted her in a TV commercial.
