Kareena, who recently shot for a cameo appearance in a song and dance number for Rowdy Rathore, had earlier turned down invitations for guest appearances for item songs. She had even turned down a song in dear friend Karan Johar's film Agneepath, and made a policy decision to not do guest appearances or item songs.
The temptation here was the magical Prabhu Deva. Kareena was last choreographed by the ace dancer in Khushi, her 2004 film.
Says a source, "Kareena gladly agreed to do a song and dance in Rowdy Rathore because of Prabhu Deva. But she got to know that her number was going to be choreographed not by Prabhu but Bosco-Caesar. Not that she created any fuss but it was a disappointment."
Prabhu Deva shocks us by saying he has not done any choreography in Rowdy Rathore.
"Kareena's appearance in Rowdy Rathore is just a token appearance out of goodwill, nothing else. But I haven't choreographed the song, Bosco-Caesar did. I like to focus on one thing at a time. So when I am directing, I'd rather not be thinking about dance steps."
Prabhu's own dance steps with Akshay Kumar in the film have also been choreographed by Bosco-Caesar.
About his next film with Salman, Prabhu says, "Salman is like a brother. He loves not just me but also my two children. Whatever we do next would have to go beyond what we did together in Wanted."
As for Kareena being part of it Prabhu laughs and says, "If I reveal everything now, there'd be no interest left in the film."
