Looking forward to Darbar?
Rajinikanth started the shoot for his latest film, Darbar, with a special puja.
He was accompanied by the film's director, A R Murugadoss, who has also directed Aamir Khan in the blockbuster, Ghajini.
The puja was held in Mumbai, where a part of the film will be shot.
The city's popular tourist destination, the Gateway Of India, obviously plays a prominent part in the story, as it features in the film's first look.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the film co-stars Nayanthara. It is scheduled to release on Pongal (January 2020).
