The biggest stars of the South film industry attended the 62nd South Filmfare awards, recently held at the Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai.

Here's a look:

Bringing her A-game to the red carpet was Shruti Haasan, who won the Best Actress award for her turn in Telugu film Race Gurram,  in a dramatic Abu Jani and Sandep Khosla lehenga that she paired with a striking bustier.

She's quite a pro at this awards ceremony thing, right?

 

Meanwhile, her actor father and Papanasam leading man Kamal Haasan was on stage presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to I V Sasi along side his Malayalam counterpart Mammootty.

 

Kaajal Agarwal looked ravishing in her elegant SS Surya gown, worn with a multi-strand necklace and slick hair.

 

Dhanush, who picked up the Best Actor award for his turn in Tamil film Velaiyilla Pattathari, shook a leg with his Aadukalam costar Taapsee Pannu.

 

Lakshmi Raai (left) and Manasvi Mamgai were pretty in corals.

 

Shriya Saran upped her sari game with this intricate Monisha Jaisingh number in green.

 

Then there was Tamannaah Bhatia looking fierce in a cutout Nikhil Thampi and dramatic eyes, while Priyamani was more traditional in a striking embroidered blouse that she paired with a black lehenga.

 

Jaya Pradha gave away the Lifetime Achievement trophy to actress Radhika Sarathkumar.

Vani Jayaram, Seema, Khushbu, spotted at the do.

Arjun took home the Best Actor trophy for his Telugu film Race Gurram.
