Telugu writer-filmmaker VB Rajendra Prasad passed away on Monday, January 12, of age-related ailments. He was 82.
In a career spanning 50 years, he made films like Aatma Balam, Aradhana and the National award-winning film, Antastulu under his banner, Jagapati Arts. He directed movies like Dasara Bullodu, Bangaru Babu, Pichimaraju and Ramakrishnulu, as well as Hindi films like Raaste Pyaar Ke and Bekaraar.
Prasad is survived by his wife and three sons, one of them being popular actor Jagapathi Babu.
