Pix: Celebrating Durga Puja with Kajol!

But we missed Rani Mukerji! :(

Kajol is making the most of the Durja Puja celebrations.

Her paternal family, the Mukherjees, are the organisers of the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti in Juhu, a western suburb of Mumbai, where the festival is celebrated on a grand scale.

This year, the Samiti is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai.

 

Kajol is traditionally dressed in a blue sari accesorised with en elegant long necklace.

She's joined by her uncle, the former actor Deb Mukherjee. Deb has two children -- Sunita, who is married to director Ashutosh Gowariker, and son, director Ayan Mukherjee.

Neetu Chandra gets clicked with Kajol's cousin, Sharbani Mukherjee.

Sharbani's brother, Samrat, mingles with Bappi Lahiri's daughter Rema Lahiri (left) and a friend.

Sumona Chakravarti, who visits the pandal every year, opts to wear a pretty white sari.

The Nigams -- Sonu, his wife Madhurima and son Nevaan -- pay their respects to the goddess.
