Oopiri is also opening up new avenues for showcasing Indian cinema by being screened in countries like Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya and Thailand.

The Forbes magazine and other media have stated that Oopiri is doing very well in USA and has collected close to a million dollars in the first weekend itself that too at regular, non-premium ticket prices.

High on action

Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan's upcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh is rumoured to have high-octane action scenes.

High-end camera equipment like Phantom Dolly cameras, Hexacopter flying cameras and Gimbal cameras have been used to enhance the action sequences.

Action choreographers Ram-Lakshman has designed the fight episodes, keeping in mind Pawan's humongous fan base.

Since Pawan is hugely popular among females and children, the actor has refused to do gory action, with blood-shed.

The introduction fight episode was shot over 10 days for which a special set of gun factory was built. Approximately 80 to 100 fighters were used for this special sequence.

Pawan, director Bobby, stunt masters Ram-Lakshman and the whole creative team of Sardaar took special care while shooting the climax fight scene.

Hyderabad is home for Raashi Khanna

Raashi Khanna

The latest actor to shift base to Hyderabad is Raashi Khanna.

"For a person who has to live out of suitcases for quite a while during shoots, it can get tough. I wanted the comfort and warmth of my own home when I return from gruelling shoots. It’s your parents’ smiling faces that you come back to," says Raashi.

"I wanted to shift because I can’t stay away from the family for long. Because I am mostly in Hyderabad, I decided to buy a house here. I love the greenery here. I love the simplicity of the people and I love Hyderabad because it has made me whoever I am today," she adds,.

Raashi shot to fame in Telugu cinema with Oohalu Gusa Gusalade.

The actress, who has wrapped up the shoot of Supreme with Sai Dharam Tej, is now working on two projects -- Oxygen with Gopichand and an untitled film with Ravi Teja.
