Like the rest of the world, the film fraternity was shocked by the Peshawar school massacre.

The cast and crew of the Hindi film Duronto paid tribute to the victims. Manoj Bajpayee posted a picture from the sets, and tweeted: 'Film unit of DURONTO observed 2 mts of silence in memory of the children killed in peshawar.'  

Aamir Khan: 'Just heard about the innocent children being killed in Peshawar. I'm devastated.'

Shah Rukh Khan: 'The soul is healed by being with children. Extreme anger & disgust for all those who took our children, our future, our healers away.'

Shatrughan Sinha: 'Strongly feel that the Indian Parliament should be adjourned tomorrow as a tribute to the children & teachers who have lost their lives and also to salute the security forces of Pakistan who managed to save more than 900 children. It should be seen as India's protest against terrorism in the sub-continent and we should make it a statement for expressing the solidarity of the SAARC nations.'

According to Google, Indo-American actress Sunny Leone is the most searched celebrity in India. She was followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan and Poonam Pandey. 

She thanked her fans and wrote: 'Thank you to all who have made me 1of the most searched in India! I never count awards as success but this news is my reward! Love you all!'


Ritiesh Deshmukh turns 36

Actor Riteish Deshmukh turns 36 on December 17 and his wife Genelia D'Souza took to Twitter to wish him.

'Happy Birthday to the one person who I admire the most and adore the mostest.. My Navra..The Father of my child..The bestest Ever,' she wrote.

Ritiesh will be next seen in Bangistan, which is scheduled to release on April 17.
