Anu Emmanuel makes her point clear

The cover of the recent issue of a Malayalam film magazine carried Action Hero Biju heroine Anu Emmanuel’s shocking statement, saying ‘Malayalam cinema doesn’t respect women.'

But Anu has made it clear that she never made such a remark.

She has posted her take on the matter on Instagram: 'The cover has this statement, “Malayalam cinema doesn’t respect heroines", which I have never said. Although the cover is nice the statement isn’t.'

Anu was recently in the news when she opted out of Amal Neerad’s latest project with Dulquer Salmaan, after joining the shoot. It was later explained that she had to complete a Telugu project to which she had already committed and when the dates collided, she was forced to take the decision.
