The latest updates from the Malayalam film industry.

Nivin Pauly

After winning hearts as a chocolate hero, Nivin Pauly is all set to play the infamous robber Kayamkulam Kochunni in Rosshan Andrrews’ forthcoming project, scripted by Bobby and Sanjay.

Kochunni is part of the folklore in Kerala, where he is known as the desi Robin Hood, stealing from the rich for the benefit of the poor.

In 1966, a film on Kayamkulam Kochunni was made with Sathyan in the title role.

Nivin will first complete Sidhartha Siva’s film and Althaf’s debut venture in Malayalam before stepping into this venture.
