The producers of the well-received NH10 are busy making plans for a sequel but its director Navdeep Singh has already moved on. He will not be a part of the sequel, which the producers Eros International and Phantom have announced.
"Navdeep had to struggle for years to complete NH10. In his career (of eight years), he has directed only two films. He isn’t about to spend a couple of years on a sequel to a film he has already done. NH10 is out of Navdeep’s system," says a source.
Singh has moved on to his next film, a comedy on NRIs called Kaneda, set in Canada.
After two dark films, Manorama 6 Feet Under and NH10, Singh wants to try something light and funny.
Interestingly, Anushka Sharma, who starred and co-produced NH10, will not be a part of the NH10 sequel as well.
