Akshay Kumar loves to travel. The actor has been in and out of Canada to film Dharmesh Darshan's Bewafaa (Anil Kapoor, Kareena). Akshay Kumar

But the adventurous Virgo is far from complaining. "I love travelling. I feel thrilled while boarding an aircraft, taking my seat, taking off. I love showing my passport to the immigration officers. When they look at it, they invariably ask, 'Oh, you travel a lot?' One of the big perks of this profession is travel. Thank God for outdoor shootings," says the actor.

Akki does, however, make it a point to spend a lot of time with his son, Aarav, and wife Twinkle Khanna. "They came with me to Canada for my Bewafaa schedule. Even in Mumbai, after pack-up, all my time belongs to my son and wife."

Bhansali's Bajirao finds a bride

It's official now. Newcomer Bhumika Chawla will play Bajirao's wife in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. Rani Mukherji, who was originally signed for the role, has had to back off due to date hassles. Rumour then had it that Esha Deol or Katrina Kaif might bag the role. Finally, however, it is Chawla who will play Salman Khan aka Bajirao's bride.

Apparently, Bhansali saw the rushes of Satish Kaushik's Tere Naam, in which Chawla makes her Hindi film debut opposite Khan and signed her on. Chawla, who also stars in Boney Kapoor's Run, opposite Abhishek Bachchan, has earlier acted in Telugu films opposite stars like Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor has been approached to star in the coveted role of Bajirao's love, Mastani.
