Sharad Kapoor (Josh) plays a key role in Farhan Akhtar's (Dil Chahta Hai) latest film Laks
hya, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. The film has been scripted by Farhan's father Javed.
Javed has also scripted ex-wife Honey Irani's directorial debut Armaan, starring Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Zinta and Gracy Singh. The film is expected to release in May.
Javed, who has confined himself to writing lyrics, last wrote the story and screenplay of Boney Kapoor's Prem.
Sharbani bounces back
Sharbani Mukherji's presence went unnoticed in J P Dutta's Border and Rajan Johri's Ansh.
Sharbani, cousin to actresses Kajol and Rani Mukherji, aims to bounce back with Rajesh Kumar Singh's Aanch. The film also stars Nana Patekar, newcomer Suchindra Bali [Vyjayanthimala's son], Nirmal Pandey, Akhilendra Mishra and Paresh Rawal.
Sharbani has also signed stage actor Bharat Dabholkar's God Knows What.
