Mahima Chaudhry and Priyanshu Chatterjee shot a hot love-making scene for Tanuja Chandra's Film Star.
"I wanted both of them to kiss," says Chandra, "but Mahima was uncomfortable."
She continues, "Film Star will be 50 per cent complete by March end. I have not decided on the release date as yet. Mahima plays a successful film star and Priyanshu, an unsuccessful lawyer. She coaxes Priyanshu to fight the case of Vasundhara Das who has killed her husband Aryan Vaid. Eventually, a physical intimacy develops between the actress and the lawyer."
Tejaswini tells it like it is
Buzz is that director Manish Jha's original choice, Tejaswani Kolhapure, for Matrubhumi dropped out from the project because of a nude scene.
Apparently, the actress shot for a day. Then brother-in-law Tutu Sharma [married to sister Padmini] forbade her from going ahead. Tulip Joshi aka Sanjana (of Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai fame) was the replacement.
Tejaswini clarifies, "Producer Pankaj Kharbanda is a family friend. Yes, I was his first choice. I did not shoot for a day. I did not even read the script. I was busy with a few fashion shows on the dates he [Pankaj] wanted me for the film. I could not cancel those commitments. And pray, why will my jijaji [brother-in-law] control my life? Some hyperactive minds are working overtime."
Aseem Merchant in Bullet
Producer Adam Dreams and director Irfaan Khan have signed up top models to play the lead roles in their film Bullet.
Miss Bulgaria Natalia Kurgova plays the female lead opposite model Aseem Merchant. Another model Rosy Wanarose has also been roped in. Most of the shooting will take place in Bulgaria.
