Tusshar Kapoor has replaced Akshaye Khanna in Rajkumar Santoshi's Khaki. The cop drama went on the floors last week. "I am very excited about the role," he says.

Khanna reportedly walked out of the film after creative differences with the director.

Khaki also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and Aishwarya Rai.

Kay Kay's bad turn

Kay Kay (Bhopal Express, Chhal) is slated to play the main villain in Gaurang Doshi's ambitious Deewar. The film boasts of a cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna.

Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta are in the reckoning for the female leads. Directed by Milan Luthria (Kachche Dhaage, Chori Chori), Deewar is slated for an April 2004 release.

Model Tupur Chatterjee -- Bollywood legend Hrishikesh Mukherjee's grand-daughter -- has declined an acting offer from Yash Chopra. "The shooting would have taken a year at the least. I want to focus on modelling," she says.

Humsaya revived

Madhura Jasraj's (Pandit Jasraj's wife and V Shantaram's daughter) Humsaya is likely to be revived. The film, which stars Shilpa Shetty, was launched under the V Shantaram banner with a lot of fanfare.Shilpa Shetty

Apparently, Madhura's brother Kiran Shantaram objected to use of the V Shantaram banner. Later, the financiers dropped out.

Madhura will now take a loan from the Bank of Maharashtra. "I will complete this project," she asserts.
